Understand the choice
Decaffeinated coffees are made using different extraction processes to remove much of the caffeine. The name of the process alone does not tell you how the final coffee will taste or its exact remaining caffeine content. Look for a clear process statement from the producer.
Put it into practice
Keep decaf dial-in notes separate. Test grind and ratio with the actual coffee, check the package information and avoid assuming that decaf means caffeine-free.
Keep the conversation useful
Share your actual recipe or experience, identify the coffee or equipment and explain what changed. A clear question with measurements makes the discussion easier for others to answer.
