Master these three coffee extraction methods to make a good cup of coffee

A delicious cup of coffee depends entirely on the barista's mixing technique, and different extraction methods will also affect the extraction concentration of a cup of coffee, which is the fundamental factor that affects the taste of a cup of coffee. Let's talk about the three most common coffee extraction methods in daily life.

1.Espresso coffee extraction method

This extraction method is very common and can be seen in any coffee shop. The fancy coffees we often drink are based on this method. Espresso can generally be made by Italian semi-automatic coffee machines and fully automatic coffee machines. It uses high-temperature and high-pressure water to pressurize the ground coffee powder for extraction. The coffee produced in this way has a higher concentration, and the coffee aroma components, emulsified oils and dissolved solids are also higher.

2. Hand-pour extraction method

Hand brewed coffee has been very popular in the past one or two years. The charm of it that attracts a large number of people to keep trying is that no matter how you change, it can always satisfy you. Changing the beans, the temperature, the scale, the water, the filter cup, or the grinder can all bring different experiences.

The hand-pour filtration method has a large degree of variability. Different techniques, temperatures, and water flow rates will affect the changes in flavor. There is no standard for judging the hand-pour extraction method because any change in the details will produce a different flavor.

3. Portable coffee in drip and capsule styles

We have to admire the rapid progress of the times. Although instant coffee became popular all over the country in the early years, long-term drinking of it is harmful to the body, so people turned their attention to freshly ground coffee. Since freshly ground coffee cannot be enjoyed at any time, portable coffee in the form of drip coffee and capsules came into being.

It is guaranteed to reach consumers within four days after grinding, and only high-quality single-origin coffee beans are used. However, the aroma will be mostly lost in three days. The brewing method is simple, and it is more suitable for consumers who don’t care about the flavor of coffee and don’t have extra time to grind it freshly.

The same kind of coffee beans can be extracted in three different ways to produce three different tastes and flavors. Coffee is as rich and wonderful as life.
