How to brew aromatic coffee from green coffee beans?

Coffee is a must-have drink for many people every morning, and brewing a mellow coffee with green coffee beans is a more unique and exquisite enjoyment. Here is how to use green coffee beans to brew delicious and mellow coffee.

First, it is important to choose high-quality green coffee beans. You can choose green beans from a single origin or a blend of origins, with different tastes and flavor profiles to suit your preferences. Make sure to buy beans that are fresh, well-preserved, and free of any off-odors or signs of deterioration.

Secondly, grinding is one of the key steps. It is recommended to grind the green coffee beans on the spot before brewing to maintain the best flavor. Use a manual or electric grinder with adjustable coarseness and adjust the appropriate size of particles according to the desired production method (such as drip, French press, etc.).

Next, add a proper amount of filtered water to the kettle and heat it to between 90°C-96°C (do not boil). This temperature range can maximize the flavor and aroma of the coffee beans.

Then, place the ground green coffee beans into a paper filter or metal filter. Choose the appropriate ratio of coffee powder and water based on your personal taste and the brewing equipment you are using. Generally speaking, you need about 750 ml of water for every 50 grams of coffee powder.

Next is the brewing time and method. For drip brewing, place the preheated pot on the scale and wet the filter with a small amount of water first. Then slowly pour the remaining water in proportion, and keep pouring evenly and steadily until it is finished. For the French press, you need to add an appropriate amount of boiling water to soak for 30 seconds to 1 minute, and then slowly push down the piston to separate the coffee grounds.

The last step is to enjoy the delicious and mellow green coffee! You can add milk, sugar or other seasonings to enhance the flavor according to your personal taste. Remember to use a clean and suitable size cup and drink it in time to maintain the temperature and taste.

In short, when brewing coffee with green coffee beans, choosing high-quality beans, grinding them properly, controlling the water temperature and ratio, and choosing the right method according to different brewing equipment are the keys to making a delicious cup of green coffee. I hope these tips can help you enjoy a cup of delicious green coffee at home.
