How to brew aromatic coffee with only coffee beans?

Coffee is a must-have drink for many people every morning, and a cup of fragrant coffee can often give people a good start. If you only have coffee beans and no ready-made coffee powder, how can you brew a cup of fragrant coffee? Here are some simple and effective methods for you.

First, you need to grind your freshly roasted coffee beans to a fineness suitable for brewing. This can be done using a manual or electric grinder. Choosing the right grind is key, as too fine a grind will cause the water to flow too quickly and not extract enough, while too coarse a grind will cause the water to flow too slowly and extract too much bitterness.

Second, when choosing a brewing tool, consider using a French Press or Pour Over, which provide better control over the contact time and temperature between water and coffee, and help extract more of the oils and compounds that make for a rich, aromatic coffee.

Then, before you start brewing, boil the right amount of water. Put the ground coffee beans into the brewing tool, and then slowly pour in the right amount of hot water. When pouring the water, you can use a stirring stick to gently stir it to ensure that the coffee powder is fully in contact with the water.

Next, wait about 4-5 minutes for the coffee to fully soak in. This time can be adjusted according to personal taste. If you like a strong taste, you can extend the soaking time.

Finally, after the waiting time is over, slowly press the filter on the French press or hand-pour pot and pour the brewed coffee into the cup. If you use a hand-pour pot, you need to pay attention to control the speed and angle of water injection to achieve better extraction effect.

To sum up, brewing delicious coffee only requires a few simple steps: choose the right coarseness, use the right tools, control the water injection speed and temperature, wait for the right time and enjoy the delicious coffee you made yourself!
