Three basic but not simple heart-shaped "pull art tutorials"

Three basic but not simple heart-shaped "pull art tutorials"

In the past few days, several coffee lovers have asked me for latte art tutorials. Today, I will share with you the tutorials for 3 types of heart shapes for beginners, namely solid heart, embossed heart, and layered heart~~

The espresso I use is [Front Street Coffee Boutique Blend] Brazilian blend of Colombia. This boutique blend of beans is a bit more sour, but it is very sweet for making latte. The blend is in a ratio of 6:4.

【solid】

Solid is the simplest and most basic pattern for latte art beginners to practice. When your fusion is complete, tilt the milk jug and the cup at a 40-degree angle and keep them at the same level. Pour milk into 1/3 of the cup. When a semicircle begins to appear, increase the amount of milk poured in and slowly return it to the cup. When the cup is 90% full, raise the height of the milk jug and end with a thin line.

【Embossed Heart】

The embossed core is to shake the milk cylinder horizontally left and right on a solid basis. When it is about 80% full, push the milk cylinder forward and increase the height of the milk cylinder, ending with a thin line flow.

【Push layer heart】

To make the heart, pour milk into the 1/3 of the cup, push out a semicircle, and then push it forward again. When it finally forms a heart shape, raise the height of the milk jug and pour in a little milk, so that the initial semicircle surrounds the entire heart, and finally finish it with a thin line flow.

Summarize

If you want to practice good-looking patterns in latte art, you have to practice continuously, constantly summarize the reasons for each failure and correct your own mistakes. The shortcut to latte art is practice~~ As for the three patterns of hearts, I think there are a few points to note:

1. It’s still about the milk foam. The milk foam must be fine and smooth, because making coffee art requires thin milk foam. If the milk foam is too thick, the fluidity of the milk foam will be insufficient, and the milk foam will directly become a white mass when poured in.

But it cannot be too thin, because if the milk milk foam is too thin, the injected milk milk foam will directly disperse and cannot take shape.

2. Angle. The angle of the milk jug directly affects the pattern drawn. The best angle for drawing is that the milk jug and the cup are tilted at a 40-degree angle and kept at the same level. The speed of returning the cup to the cup should not be too fast. If it is too fast, the milk jug cannot keep up with the speed of returning the cup, which will make your pattern shapeless or deformed. If it is too slow, the milk foam will directly overflow from the cup.

3. Injection point: The best injection point for milk foam is 1/3 of the side of the cup close to the milk jug. If you inject it too late, the pattern you create will not be concentrated in the middle of the cup, making it difficult to finish and affecting the appearance.

4. When embossing, keep the left and right shaking consistent. Don't hold the milk jug too tightly. Shake the milk jug naturally. When you pour in the milk foam, the milk will actually form its own patterns. Don't be too hasty to push out the pattern.

The above are the 3 ways to draw love that the editor shared today~~
