Making a beautiful cup of latte art is what every barista and coffee lover has always wanted to do. Today, I will summarize the techniques of heart-shaped latte art. As long as you practice diligently and find the techniques in practice, you will definitely succeed.

1. How to make heart-shaped latte art

【Heart-shaped latte art tips】

① Select the injection point, which is about 1/3 of the cup mouth.

② When starting to inject, use a small flow rate and puncture the grease to stabilize the flow rate.

③ Pour in a small amount until the coffee cup is 50% full.

④ After the "white spots" appear, increase the flow rate and maintain it.

⑤ Keep increasing the flow rate and shake the latte art pitcher left and right, coordinating with your arms and wrists.

⑥ When shaking, stay at the selected point and do not move backward.

⑦ Raise the drawing cylinder and end with a small flow in a straight line.

2. Detailed explanation of heart-shaped latte art technique

①. Inject at 1/3 of the way, tilt the coffee cup 10-15 degrees, raise the latte art pitcher about 10 cm and pour in the milk foam to puncture the grease.

②. Lower the latte art pitcher so that the mouth of the pitcher is close to the mouth of the coffee cup, and shake it left and right to maintain the flow rate. When shaking, control the latte art flow rate and make the Z-shaped shaking distance of 25px to form a layered milk foam.

③. As the latte art pitcher continues to shake, the heart shape will continue to grow. Be careful to maintain the flow of milk foam. (Do not move the latte art pitcher backwards while shaking, as the grease will automatically form a round shape.)

④. As the milk foam in the cup increases, slowly lay the cup flat while pouring. The purpose of shaking the latte art pitcher left and right is to increase the layering of the heart shape. The more times you shake it left and right, the more layers there will be, and the more beautiful our latte art will be.

⑤. When the cup is 80% full of milk, lay the coffee cup flat, prepare to raise the latte art pitcher, and reduce the amount of milk foam at the same time.

⑥ When the pitcher is almost 90% full, raise the pitcher with a small flow rate, and the injection point should be the center of the heart shape.

⑦. Raise the latte art pitcher and reduce the flow rate and amount of milk.

⑧. The milk foam is collected from the center line to the end of the cup at a small flow rate. A standard cup of cappuccino must have the coffee liquid about 0.5 cm above the rim of the cup to make it full but not overflowing.

⑨. At this time, you will find that the thickness of the milk foam in the coffee cup is 1-1.5 cm. Congratulations, a perfect heart-shaped latte art for a cup of cappuccino is completed.
