Coffee Beans

There are two main types of coffee on the market: Arabica and Robusta.

The better quality and more expensive coffee beans all come from Arabica. It is the most cultivated coffee bean in the world, accounting for 70% of the coffee supply, and is mostly produced in tropical regions of Central and South America. Arabica coffee trees need to be planted on sloping slopes at high altitudes. Because the coffee beans have a special aroma, rich flavor, and less caffeine, they are sold at a higher price.

Robusta coffee beans account for about 20 to 30% of the world's production. They are highly resistant to tropical climates and are mainly grown at 200 to 300 meters above sea level. This type of coffee bean has a poorer aroma, a strong bitter taste, insufficient acidity, and twice the caffeine of Arabica. It is mostly used to brew iced coffee, instant coffee, canned coffee, and mixed.
