The process of roasting coffee beans

Grinding coffee beans

Grinding is one of the key steps to brewing the perfect cup of coffee. Freshly ground coffee releases more aroma and taste, so it is best to do it a few minutes before brewing.

Choosing the right grind size is important. If you use a drip brewing method, a medium-fine or slightly coarse grind is best. For an immersion brewing method (such as a French press), a finer, more even grind is needed.

Brew the perfect cup of coffee

After completing the above two steps, we can start making a perfect cup of fragrant coffee. Here are some common brewing methods:

1. Drip brewing: Put the ground coffee powder into the filter paper, pour in an appropriate amount of hot water, and let the water slowly penetrate through the coffee powder. This method is simple and easy, suitable for daily use.

2. French press brewing: Put the ground coffee powder into the French press, add appropriate amount of hot water and stir well. After waiting for a few minutes, press the piston to let the coffee seep out. This method can fully release the aroma and taste of the coffee beans.

3. Hand brewing: Sprinkle the ground coffee powder evenly on the filter and slowly pour boiling water at a certain height above the pre-humidified filter. Adjust the soaking time and soaking depth by controlling the water injection speed and angle.
