Many people like to drink coffee when they work overtime because they think coffee can refresh the brain and make them more efficient when working overtime. Many young men and women also like to drink coffee and think it is more fashionable. However, drinking coffee also has some harms. Today we will introduce the harms of drinking coffee frequently.

1. Aggravate high blood pressure

Because of its analgesic effect, caffeine is often combined with other simple analgesics. However, long-term and large-scale use will only make your condition worse if you already have high blood pressure. Caffeine alone can increase blood pressure, and if emotional tension is added, it will have a dangerous multiplication effect. Therefore, people at risk of high blood pressure should especially avoid drinking caffeinated beverages when they are under great work pressure.

Some people who have the habit of drinking coffee all year round think that they are immune to the effects of caffeine. However, this is not the case. A study shows that after drinking a cup of coffee, blood pressure can rise for up to 12 hours.

2. Induce osteoporosis

Caffeine itself has a good diuretic effect. If you drink coffee for a long time and in large quantities, it can easily cause bone loss and have an adverse effect on bone mass preservation. For women, it may increase the threat of osteoporosis.

But the premise is that people who don't get enough calcium in their daily food, or people who don't exercise often, plus women after menopause, lose calcium due to lack of estrogen, and these conditions plus a lot of caffeine may threaten bones. 3. Excessive intake can cause nervousness

Caffeine helps improve alertness, sensitivity, memory and concentration when you are nervous. But drinking more coffee than you are used to will produce a similar effect as taking the same dose of stimulants, which can cause nervousness.

For people prone to anxiety disorders, caffeine can make symptoms such as sweaty palms, palpitations, and tinnitus worse.
