Understand the choice
Use the same method, water, ratio, cups and tasting temperatures for both coffees. Label samples with neutral letters if a friend can help. Repeat the comparison on another day.
Put it into practice
Write preference and description separately. A coffee can be distinctive without being your favourite. This simple exercise is not an official cupping score or competition assessment.
Keep the conversation useful
Share your actual recipe or experience, identify the coffee or equipment and explain what changed. A clear question with measurements makes the discussion easier for others to answer.
