Text/Coffee Cheese

Coffee latte art, in English, is called latte art, which should be strictly translated as latte art. Latte actually means milk, and the default is coffee plus milk. Coffee latte art is actually the fusion and collision of milk and coffee, which finally presents different ornamental patterns.

Many people fall in love with coffee because of the beautiful coffee art. How can you improve your latte art skills as soon as possible? It is best to have a master to guide you. If you want to practice on your own, you can only watch more videos or participate in training courses. If you want to get deeper into this industry, you might as well participate in some coffee competitions to accumulate more experience in actual practice.

Regarding coffee latte art techniques, let me share some of my own experiences!

1. After preparing the espresso, select the latte art spot one-third of the way from the mouth of the cup, tilt the cup at 10 to 15 degrees, keep the milk jug 10 cm away from the coffee surface, and use a small flow of milk to pierce the coffee oil.

2. Keep the flow steady and pour until the bottle is 50% full to allow the coffee and milk to blend.

3. When white milk foam appears on the surface of the coffee liquid, lower the latte art pitcher close to the coffee cup. At the same time, increase the amount of milk foam injected and swing the milk pitcher in a "Z" shape with your arms, keeping the amplitude within 1 cm.

4. Shake the milk jug while pouring the milk foam. The area of the milk foam will continue to increase. Always pay attention to the shape of the foam.

5. As the milk foam is continuously poured in, slowly flatten the cup. When the cup is 80% full, it will be completely flat and the flow of milk foam will also decrease accordingly.

6. When the cup is nearly 90% full, raise the latte art cylinder to make the milk column thinner and control the center point of the milk foam injection, which is usually in the center of the cup. The closing line in this step determines the left-right symmetry of the pattern.

7. Start to collect the milk at a small flow rate, cleanly and neatly, and the amount of milk will gradually decrease.

8. Final production.

Heart-shaped latte art can be said to be the most basic of the basics. If you haven’t even mastered this basic shape, don’t rush to try other tricks!
