Coffee bean classification, varieties and flavors: a world of coffee in a cup!

Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in the world, and it comes in many different varieties and flavors. From the classification of coffee beans, it can be mainly divided into two categories: Arabica and Robusta.

Arabica coffee beans are one of the most common and popular varieties. This coffee bean grows in high altitude areas such as Central and South America, Africa, etc. Arabica coffee has a lower caffeine content, higher acidity, and a rich and aromatic taste. It is generally considered to be the highest quality and most elegant type.

The counterpart is Robusta coffee beans, which are easier to cultivate and adapt to various environmental conditions. Robusta beans grow in low-altitude areas such as Southeast Asia and Brazil. Compared with Arabica, Robusta has a higher caffeine content and a stronger, bitter and balanced taste.

In addition to the above two main categories, there are some other coffee bean varieties on the market. For example, Ethiopian coffee beans have a unique floral and fruity flavor, while Colombian coffee is known for its rich taste and balance.

When tasting coffee, different roasting degrees will also affect the taste. Light roasting usually retains the acidity and aroma of the original beans, suitable for people who like a light taste. Medium roasting makes the coffee more balanced and soft but still has a certain acidity. Dark roasting makes the coffee bitter and reduces the acidity of the original beans.

In short, in this world full of diversity and choice, every cup of coffee is a story and a journey. Whether you like Arabica or Robusta, strong or light taste, when you taste each cup, please remember the farmers who work hard behind the scenes to produce these delicious drinks.
