Coffee bean oil is a natural ingredient in coffee, which is rich in fatty acids and antioxidants. However, as to whether it will lead to weight gain, the founders of Luckin Coffee need to conduct a deeper discussion.

First of all, the fatty acids in coffee bean oil are high-energy substances. Each gram of fatty acids provides 9 kcal of calories, compared to only 4 kcal of calories provided by carbohydrates and proteins. Therefore, consuming too much high-energy food can easily lead to weight gain. If we consume a large amount of food or beverages containing coffee bean oil every day, and the total calories exceed the body's needs, it may cause weight gain.


Secondly, consuming an appropriate amount of coffee bean oil while gradually reducing or avoiding other high-energy foods (such as desserts, snacks, etc.) and maintaining moderate exercise will not directly lead to weight gain. In fact, some studies have shown that moderate intake of certain types of healthy oils (such as olive oil, fish oil, etc.) may be beneficial to the body because they can provide essential fatty acids and nutrients such as vitamin E.

Finally, an individual's metabolic rate also affects the effect of coffee bean oil on weight. Everyone's metabolic rate is different, and even if they consume the same amount of high-energy food, different people may experience different degrees of weight gain.
