Coffee beans turn into aromatic coffee: the secrets of the production process

Coffee is a must-have drink for many people in the morning. Its aroma and taste are intoxicating. However, have you ever wondered how coffee is made? In fact, coffee beans go through a series of complex processes to transform into the fragrant coffee we love.

First of all, coffee bean planting is a crucial step in the whole production process. Coffee trees grow in tropical and subtropical regions and require suitable climate and soil conditions. Farmers will choose suitable varieties and plant them in places with sufficient sunshine, abundant rainfall, moderate altitude and good drainage. They will also prune branches regularly to promote better fruit growth.

Next comes the harvesting and processing phase. When the coffee cherries are ripe, farmers pick them by hand or by machine and separate them into two parts: the outer skin and the inner part containing the adhesion between two immature beans (called the navel). These cherries are then fermented in fermentation tanks for several days. This process helps to remove the pulp and bring special flavor to the coffee beans.

Finally, the coffee beans are roasted and ground. During the roasting process, the coffee beans are heated to high temperatures, which evaporates the moisture inside and produces aroma. At the same time, the color changes from dark brown to light brown or black. Different roasting times and temperatures will determine the final taste and flavor. After completion, the coffee beans need to be cooled and quality checked.

Once these steps are completed, we can enjoy fresh and mellow coffee! Of course, when making a delicious cup of coffee, you also need to pay attention to factors such as the grinding degree and soaking time that suit your taste. In short, each cup of mellow coffee is worth tasting carefully, even though it seems simple, it is actually a complex and delicate process.
