In contrast, Robusta is more suitable for growing in low altitude areas and has relatively low environmental requirements. This makes Robusta have a higher return rate and enriches the choice of the coffee market. Robusta beans are usually grown in tropical areas such as Brazil, Indonesia and Vietnam. Compared with Arabica, Robusta coffee beans have lower acidity and are more bitter and rich. This makes it ideal for making espresso and blended coffee.


In addition to their growing environment and taste characteristics, Arabica and Robusta also differ in their uses. Due to their high quality and unique flavor, Arabica beans are often used in single-origin coffees or premium blends. They can be roasted in a variety of different ways to show different flavor characteristics and can provide a more complex, smooth and balanced taste experience.

Due to its bitter and strong flavor characteristics, Robusta is often used as one of the main ingredients when making espresso.
