Can coffee beans be drunk directly from boiling water?

Coffee is a must-have drink for many people in the morning. It can refresh the mind and bring energy to people for the whole day. However, for those who like to make their own coffee, can they directly use coffee beans to make boiling water? This question has caused some controversy among coffee lovers.

First of all, we coffee shop copywriters need to make one thing clear: coffee brewed with ground coffee powder will be more intense and fragrant. This is because more aroma and oil are released during the grinding process. If you directly use whole unprocessed coffee beans to brew water, the aroma and flavor contained in them cannot be fully released.

Secondly, when whole untreated coffee beans are put into boiling water, the active ingredients contained in them cannot be completely dissolved. This means that you may not be able to enjoy the complete rich taste and strong flavor when grinding. In addition, since the unprocessed process does not remove the unfavorable factors such as the aggregated substances or impurities on the surface, the coffee brewed directly from whole untreated coffee beans may have a bitter or unpalatable taste.

In summary, although it is theoretically possible to brew coffee beans directly with boiling water, it is not recommended in terms of taste and flavor. If you really want to enjoy the best coffee, it is recommended to choose ground coffee powder for brewing. Of course, if you just want to quench your thirst or have no other conditions, you can also try to brew a simple and ordinary cup of black coffee with whole unprocessed coffee beans.
