From coffee beans to aroma, a perfect production guide!

From coffee beans to aroma, a perfect production guide!

Coffee is one of the world's most popular beverages, and its taste and flavor vary depending on the choice of coffee beans and the method of preparation. Here is a guide to making the perfect cup of coffee.

First of all, it is very important to choose high-quality coffee beans. High-quality coffee beans usually have a strong and complex flavor and can stay fresh longer. When buying coffee beans, you can pay attention to the following points: First, choose freshly roasted beans. The carbon dioxide released during the fresh roasting process will bring more bubbles and aroma to the coffee. Second, choose whole beans or less broken beans. Whole beans or less broken beans preserve more oils and flavor substances.

Secondly, before brewing, the coffee beans need to be ground into the powder size required for the brewing method. Different brewing methods require different powder sizes to extract the best taste and flavor characteristics. For example, for drip brewing methods (such as hand pour-over), a coarser powder is required so that the water can pass better. For espresso machines, a finer powder is required so that the water can fully contact the coffee. In addition, when grinding the beans, pay attention to maintaining a consistent particle size to avoid over- or under-extraction.

Finally, it is also key to control the time and temperature during the brewing process. Generally speaking, brewing coffee with water at 90°C-96°C (194°F-205°F) can extract the best taste and flavor. As for the time, adjust it according to personal taste. Generally speaking, a longer time will make the coffee stronger but may bring a bitter taste; while a shorter time may cause problems such as excessive acidity and lack of flavor. Therefore, you can try different times and ratios when brewing, and record the taste you like.
