Coffee bean classification paper: analyzing the diversity and characteristics of coffee beans!

Coffee is one of the most popular beverages in the world, and coffee beans are the key ingredient in making coffee. Different types of coffee beans have their own unique diversity and characteristics, which will be analyzed below.

First of all, coffee beans can be divided into two categories according to their origin: Arabica and Robusta. Arabica beans are generally considered to be high-quality coffee beans. They grow at high altitudes and require warm and humid climate conditions. This type of coffee beans has a rich and complex taste, aroma and acidity. In contrast, Robusta beans are easier to cultivate and have stronger adaptability. They can also grow well in low altitudes. Robusta has a stronger aftertaste and a higher degree of bitterness.

Secondly, there are also differences in processing methods that lead to different characteristics. Dry Processed and Wet Processed are two common methods. Dry Processing is usually used to produce natural or unfermented coffee beans. This treatment method will allow the coffee beans to retain more natural aroma and flavor, but it is also easy to cause some fruity and bitter tastes. Wet processing is to ferment, wash and remove the skin of the coffee beans in water. This method can produce coffee beans with a more balanced taste and rich aroma.

In addition, the degree of roasting also has an important impact on the characteristics of coffee beans. Light roasting usually retains more original flavors, with a bright and light taste and higher acidity. Medium roasting adds some sweetness and balance while retaining some of the original flavor. Dark roasting brings a stronger, more bitter taste with a cocoa or chocolate-like taste.

In summary, different types, origins, processing methods and roasting degrees will have a significant impact on coffee beans, giving them their own characteristics and diversity. Whether you pursue Arabica beans with a strong aroma or Robusta beans with a strong bitter taste, coffee lovers can choose the coffee beans that suit them according to their taste preferences.
