Coffee bean preparation tips: How to make your coffee taste better

Coffee is a must-have drink for many people every morning, and how to make coffee with a better taste has become the focus of many coffee lovers. Here are three coffee bean production techniques to help you make coffee with a better taste.

First of all, it is very important to choose the right coffee beans. Coffee beans produced in different regions have different flavor characteristics. For example, coffee beans produced in Brazil and Colombia usually have a richer and more balanced taste; while coffee beans produced in Ethiopia and Kenya often have obvious fruit acidity and floral aroma. Therefore, when choosing to buy, you can choose according to your personal preferences to suit your taste preferences or try new styles.

Secondly, mastering the time and coarseness during the grinding process is also key. When making black filter coffee by hand pouring or dripping boba pot, it is generally necessary to use a medium-coarse to medium-fine grinding degree so that the coffee and water are fully in contact and release more flavor. For espresso, a relatively fine grinding degree is required to extract the rich and rich coffee oil and aroma in about 30 seconds.

Finally, it is also very important to control the water temperature and extraction time during the brewing process. Generally speaking, the appropriate brewing temperature should be between 90℃-96℃. Too high or too low will affect the taste of the coffee. In addition, when making black filter pour-over coffee by hand or drip boba pot, it is usually necessary to control the extraction time between 3-4 minutes; and for espresso, the extraction time should be controlled between 25-30 seconds.
