The most environmentally friendly coffee cup, you can become an immortal after drinking one cup!

Coffee is an essential item for workers, especially those who often stay up late. However, the cup is very important. A comfortable cup can give people a good mood, and it can also improve the quality of coffee. For example, Starbucks, which we like, will release a series of coffee cups at a certain time of the year. Today, the editor wants to introduce this coffee cup to you. It is made of the most unique material in history. Let's learn about it together.

This coffee cup is made entirely of sand. Yes! The sand on the beach. Perhaps the most bizarre news you’ve heard is that you can pan for gold in the sand, but how did the designer come up with this super simple coffee cup? However, this sand is not that sand. Inspired by the ever-changing sand dunes, the foundry under Tinkah has developed a material that incorporates the properties of desert sand into a plastic medium.

the material, called ‘ramel’, has the ability to transform into functional or aesthetic products that emerge from their environment rather than borrow from it. in a nod to global culture, the foundry designed and crafted a humble coffee cup using the material.

in the exploration of the project, the foundry brought together artists, designers, writers and creatives from tinkah to combat the monotony of commercial design for proprietary environments. the creative company they founded originally emerged in dubai and often draws inspiration from the immediate environment. in the case of the sand coffee cup project, the company looked to one of the most abundant but untapped natural resources in the uae, the team sought to create a renewable product out of sand.

This product is very interesting. It is extremely simple in shape, but very bold and innovative in the use of materials. We have been exploring the boundaries between humans and nature, trying our best to prevent the backlash caused by excessive resource utilization, and using various forms to make people start to pay attention to nature and no longer be numb. This design just conveys such a concept. I wonder if such design can become a trend in the future society?
