SCAE Barista Certification Test Center

SCAE (Specialty Coffee Association of Europe) is a European professional coffee association dedicated to promoting and improving the quality and standards of the coffee industry. As the association's certification examination center, we undertake the important task of training and evaluating baristas.

Training courses

We offer a range of training courses for different levels, including beginner, intermediate and advanced. These courses cover the full range of content from basic knowledge to professional skills.

At the elementary level, students will learn basic knowledge about coffee origin, types, roasting, etc., and practice simple tasting and blending, which will lay a solid foundation for them.

After entering the intermediate stage, students will have a deeper understanding of more complex and detailed knowledge points, such as analysis of coffee beans produced in different regions, adjustment of grinding degree, and latte art techniques, etc. They also need to demonstrate their skills through theoretical tests and practical operations.

The advanced stage is the most challenging part, where students need to reach professional levels in all aspects. They will learn advanced skills such as how to cup coffee, adjust the grinder, and make special coffee drinks. Through a series of exams and practices, they will prove that they have the ability to become top baristas.

Certification Assessment

Our certification assessments are designed to ensure that every SCAE-certified barista possesses the skills and knowledge required by industry standards.

The evaluation process includes two parts: theoretical test and practical operation. The theoretical test mainly examines the students' knowledge of coffee, including origin, types, processing methods, etc. The practical operation tests the students' skills in blending and tasting by simulating real scenes.

We strictly follow the standards set by SCAE for assessment and are supervised by experienced and qualified examiners. Only those who have passed all stages of the exam and obtained a qualified score can obtain the certification issued by SCAE.

Training facilities

In order to provide the best training experience, we have advanced training facilities and equipment.

Our lab is equipped with the latest coffee machines, grinders and other brewing tools, where students can practice practical operations and receive guidance from professional teachers.

In addition, we provide a comfortable and modern classroom environment so that students can better absorb knowledge. We believe that a good learning environment is essential to cultivating excellent baristas.

Conclusion

As a SCAE certified examination center, we are committed to providing the best quality training and assessment services to every student. By taking our courses and exams, you will gain international recognition and become a qualified and competitive barista.
