How to make tea with a coffee maker: easy to learn

How to use a coffee pot to make tea

A coffee pot is a common kitchen utensil. In addition to brewing coffee, it can also be used to make tea. Although it is not as sophisticated as a professional tea set, a coffee pot can also play a good role in daily tea drinking. The following is an easy-to-learn method of using it.

Preparation

Before you begin, you need to prepare the following materials and tools:

  • 1. Coffee pot: Choose a coffee pot that is clean, odor-free and suitable for brewing tea.
  • 2. Teaware: You can choose a glass or ceramic cup as your teaware.
  • 3. Jasmine tea: Choose your favorite brand and type based on your personal taste.
  • 4. Water: Use purified or filtered water for brewing.

Step 1: Clean the coffee pot

Before using a coffee pot to make tea, you first need to clean the coffee pot thoroughly. You can use warm water and neutral detergent to gently wipe the inner and outer walls, and rinse with clean water. Make sure there is no coffee residue or odor.

Step 2: Add tea leaves

Put an appropriate amount of jasmine tea leaves into the coffee pot. The amount of tea leaves can be adjusted according to personal taste and preference. Generally speaking, about 1 gram of jasmine tea leaves is needed for every 100 ml of water.

Step 3: Add water

Pour an appropriate amount of boiling water into the coffee pot, being careful not to exceed the maximum capacity line of the container. It is very important to choose boiling water of the right temperature. Generally speaking, 80℃-90℃ is the ideal temperature for brewing herbal tea.

Step 4: Wait for soaking

Cover the coffee pot and wait for a while for the jasmine aroma to fully release. Generally speaking, the steeping time is about 3-5 minutes, which can be adjusted according to personal taste.

Step 5: Pour the tea into the teapot

Pour the brewed tea into the prepared teapot. You can use a filter or funnel to filter out the tea leaves to get a clear and transparent tea soup with a rich floral aroma.

Step 6: Enjoy

Now you have successfully brewed a cup of delicious jasmine tea with a coffee pot. Pick up your favorite cup and sip this refreshing and pleasant taste.

Tips:

  • - If you prefer a lighter taste, you can shorten the steeping time; if you prefer a stronger taste, you can lengthen the steeping time.
  • - Preheating the coffee pot and teapot before brewing can improve the heat retention effect and make the resulting herbal drink more beautiful and delicious.
  • - Coffee pots are not suitable for brewing black tea, oolong tea and other teas that require a long brewing time because the heat preservation performance of coffee pots is relatively poor.

With the above easy-to-learn usage method, you can easily use a coffee pot to brew delicious jasmine tea with a fragrant flower aroma at home. Enjoy a cup of refreshing and pleasant floral drink to make your life more pleasant and comfortable.
