How to make perfect coffee milk foam

Coffee milk foam is a classic drink, which is composed of strong coffee and delicate milk foam. Making perfect coffee milk foam requires certain skills and patience. Here is a simple and effective way to make it.

Preparation

First, we need to prepare the following materials: freshly ground coffee powder, water, milk and a manual or automatic coffee maker.

Next, we need to prepare a clean, tidy and odor-free container to hold the whipped milk.

Step 1: Brew coffee

Pour an appropriate amount of water into the boiling pot and heat it to about 90°C. Then put an appropriate amount of coffee powder into the filter and shake it gently to evenly distribute it.

Next, slowly pour boiling water over the filter and wait for about 2-4 minutes for the coffee to fully soak in. Then slowly pour the remaining boiling water again until all the coffee in the filter is settled.

Finally, pour the brewed coffee into the prepared cup and swirl the cup slightly to mix the coffee evenly.

Step 2: Froth the milk

Pour an appropriate amount of milk into a container and use a manual or automatic whisk to whip it. During this process, we need to pay attention to the following points:

First, choose fresh milk with the right fat content. Whole milk usually produces finer and longer-lasting milk foam.

Secondly, keep the whisk rotating steadily and continuously during the whipping process. This will help air fully enter the milk and form small and evenly distributed bubbles.

Finally, don’t stop stirring until you reach your desired state. Stop stirring when the milk starts to feel soft, smooth and elastic.

Step 3: Assemble the coffee

Pour the prepared coffee into a cup, leaving enough space for the milk foam.

Then, slowly pour the frothed milk onto the coffee. During this process, we can control the thickness and uniformity of the milk foam by adjusting the tilt angle and speed.

Finally, use a spoon to gently stir the milk foam on the surface to make it smoother, and sprinkle some cocoa powder or chocolate chips for decoration if needed.

Tips

1. Before brewing coffee, make sure the ground coffee powder has the appropriate fineness. Too fine or too coarse will affect the taste of the coffee.

2. When frothing milk, choose a container that is of the right size and easy to operate. This will allow you to better control the frothing process and avoid overflow.

3. If you want to add a layer of flavor to your coffee, try adding some vanilla syrup, caramel sauce or other condiments.

Summarize

Making perfect coffee milk foam requires certain skills and care. By mastering the steps of brewing coffee, frothing milk and assembling coffee, we can easily make coffee milk foam with rich taste and aroma. I hope the above methods can help you, and I wish you enjoy a delicious coffee time!
