How to use the coffee machine

How to use the coffee machine

Next, we will introduce to you how to use the coffee machine.

1. To make coffee, you must first connect the power supply. The coffee machine must be connected to an A/C socket. The voltage used must match the specified voltage indicated on the machine packaging. It is strictly forbidden to use a defective power cord. After plugging in the power supply, turn on the coffee machine power switch.

2. Remove the bean box lid and put an appropriate amount of coffee beans into the bean box (the bean box capacity of most coffee machines will not exceed 400G) until it is 80% full.

3. Remove the water tank from the machine, take off the water tank cover, fill it with about 3/4 of the capacity of clean water, and the valve at the bottom of the water tank is used to drain the water. When putting the water tank back into the machine, press the water tank lightly facing the valve that can open automatically, and then cover the water tank cover.

4. After completing the above preparations, you can make coffee. Generally, there are several function buttons on the coffee machine, such as "small cup", "large cup", hot water/steam, coffee powder, etc. Some do not have a powder button because it does not have a powder device, which means that only coffee beans can be used. Some also have coffee powder volume setting, coffee water volume (concentration) setting, double cup and other buttons. The specific buttons vary from machine to machine. If you need a large cup of coffee, press the large cup button, and if you want a small cup, press the small button. Therefore, it is very simple to make coffee with a coffee machine. It does not require too much human operation at all. As long as the basic conditions for making coffee are met, it will be fine.

5. If you need to make fancy coffee, you need to prepare a cup of espresso in advance, and then fill the steel cup with 1/3-1/2 whole milk, so that the steam pipe just touches the surface of the milk and is about one finger away from the inner wall of the cup. Turn on the steam switch, and when the milk foam has almost filled the cup, turn off the steam first, and then take away the milk cup. At this time, hold the steel cup with the right hand and the espresso with the left hand, and slowly pour the whipped milk foam into the espresso just made. In this way, a cup of fragrant CAPPUCCINO is ready. Isn’t it simple?

Precautions for using the coffee machine

Although the coffee machine is convenient and easy to use, there are still some things we should pay attention to.

1. Please do not use the coffee machine if there is no water supply.

2. Before operating the coffee machine, please note that it can only be used when the boiler pressure pointer reaches the green area (1-1.2 bar). When in use, the temperature of the steam wand, the hot water outlet nozzle and the steaming outlet is very high. Please do not expose your hands nearby to avoid injuries caused by high temperature.

3. When the voltage-stabilizing motor is pumping water, pay attention to whether the water pressure value on the pressure gauge is in the green area (8-10 bar).

4. To prevent overheating, please keep the power supply smooth and the ventilation inlet and outlet unblocked; do not cover the cup warmer with towels or similar items except for cups and plates.

5. The cup must be completely dry before it can be placed on the cup warming rack for warming; do not place other items on the cup warming rack except cups and plates.

6. If you do not use the coffee machine for a long time, please turn off the power and completely release the pressure in the machine's boiler.

7. Any accessories of the machine and equipment must not be cleaned with iron wire, steel brushes or other similar items; they must be carefully wiped with a wet cloth.

8. Place an appropriate amount of coffee powder into the filter cup handle and carefully compact it with the pressure handle. Note: Do not leave coffee powder on the edge of the filter cup, so that no air will enter during the cooking process to reduce the pressure, and it can also extend the life of the cooking head gasket.

9. When inserting the filter cup handle into the steaming head socket, please insert it tightly. Otherwise, the handle will pop open due to excessive pressure during production.

10. After each use of the coffee machine, the power supply should be turned off in time and the cleanable parts of the coffee machine should be simply cleaned.

11. After cleaning the coffee machine, wipe off excess moisture with a soft dry cloth and place the machine in a dry, ventilated environment.
