Xinlan.com - China Blue News Client, September 4 (Reporter Chen Jiayu from China Blue Media Center Xinlan.com) Today (4th), a takeaway coffee consumer representative tasting meeting was held at the Hangzhou Consumer Protection Committee. There were 9 citizen representatives as reviewers in this event, including 6 women and 3 men. A total of seven representative coffee brands, including Starbucks, Luckin Coffee, McDonald's, Costa, Coca-Cola, FamilyMart, and KFC, were selected for evaluation. Large cups of latte (sugar-free, cream by default) were selected. First, the staff poured the coffee of the seven major brands into small transparent cups of the same specifications, and numbered them 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 in order, and gave them to the testers for blind testing in the order of the numbers. The reporter noticed that a glass of water was placed in front of each tester's table. The staff said that this was to allow the testers to rinse their mouths with water before testing the coffee to ensure the accuracy of the taste as much as possible. The testers will conduct a comprehensive blind coffee test based on scores in seven aspects: cleanliness, sweetness, mouth feel, aroma, aftertaste, balance, and overall evaluation. Each item can be given 1 to 3 stars based on the actual situation. "First of all, the aroma attracts us the most. Secondly, how smooth it is after drinking it. I feel that the quality of No. 3 coffee is quite good." Aunt Yu is definitely a senior coffee expert. She has been drinking coffee for more than 20 years. Compared with milk coffee, she prefers black coffee. "For us who drink coffee, we like the taste of coffee itself. If we add more milk, the flavor will change." "I care more about the cleanliness of coffee." Mr. Ma is a barista himself and has more detailed requirements for coffee. "Take water as an example. Unfiltered water will have impurities, which we call unclean. Clean means there are no flaws or contamination. The No. 2 coffee I just drank smelled average, and it tasted uneven, with a lot of flaws." After 7 rounds of scoring, the Hangzhou Consumer Protection Committee announced the real numbers of the coffee brands, which are: No. 1 KFC, No. 2 Luckin Coffee, No. 3 Starbucks, No. 4 Cravings, No. 5 Costa, No. 6 FamilyMart, and No. 7 McDonald's. The results showed that the coffee with the highest comprehensive score was No. 6 - FamilyMart's Paike Coffee, which scored 2.77 points. Costa and KFC ranked second, and Luckin Coffee ranked last. The results showed that FamilyMart had the highest overall score, Costa and KFC tied for second, Starbucks and KFC tied for fourth, and McDonald's and Luckin Coffee ranked at the bottom. Many reviewers were surprised by the result. "The flavor of FamilyMart coffee is indeed different from that of several other brands. After seeing the result, I decided to buy a cup and taste it later," said reviewer Mr. Ma. Through today's evaluation activities, Hangzhou Consumer Protection Committee aims to encourage citizens not to blindly follow big brands, but to consume more rationally. What do you think of such evaluation results as a consumer? (Copyright belongs to the original author. Please indicate the source for reprinting: Xinlan.com - China Blue News.) Video loading... |
