The Moka pot is the Italian way of brewing coffee, suitable for people with strong taste. The brewed coffee is close to the concentration of Espresso, but because the pressure it produces is not enough, it cannot be called Espresso in the strict sense. The pot is easy to brew, beautiful in shape and does not take up space, making it a more economical choice for ordinary families. However, it must be noted that the coffee powder should be ground finer, and the brewing time and water volume should be controlled. Mantangyu Fuzhou Coffee Training School will tell you slowly. Early Moka pots were mostly made of aluminum, but now they are mostly made of stainless steel. step: Step 1 Pour water into the lower pot of the Moka pot (hot water is also OK), and be careful not to let the water exceed the safety valve. Step 2 Put an appropriate amount of finely ground coffee powder into the coffee container in the middle, and gently squeeze it with the bottom and edge of the spoon to remove as much gas as possible from the coffee and fill the gaps on the edge of the small box. (It is best to fill the coffee container and gently flatten the coffee powder, so that the water will stay in the coffee longer and the coffee will not be too diluted) Step 3 Use your fingers to gently wipe off the coffee powder particles left on the edge of the small box, and then place the small box on top of the lower pot filled with water. Step 4 Tighten the upper and lower pots of the moka pot firmly, making sure the lower pot remains upright to prevent the water from soaking the coffee too early. Step 5 Heat the moka pot on medium to low heat. Pour boiling water into the coffee cup. Step 6 When the water boils, the steam produced will cause the water to enter the coffee through the funnel. Immediately turn down the heat (if the heat is still high, the water will quickly filter through the coffee, making the brewed coffee sour and thin); when there is a sound of water in the upper pot, the bubbling sound becomes intermittent, a large amount of steam comes out, and the aroma of coffee wafts out, it means the coffee is ready. Step 7 Turn off the heat source and wait for the bubbling sound to stop, then pour the coffee in the upper pot into the cup and enjoy a cup of fragrant coffee. |
