The cafe's 24K gold cappuccino is espresso-based and tastes like cookie butter; it's also topped with gold flakes and glitter.

The popular rainbow latte is also available, but only on weekends

This fall, San Diego's S3 Coffee Bar began rolling out its Rose Gold Latte to customers. Not surprisingly, it was taken down in stores and on Instagram.

The tea-based "latte" was brightly colored with rose petals and shimmering gold glitter, so bright, in fact, that it was almost too pretty to drink for many of the people who ordered it.

The decaffeinated "Character Gold Latte" will only be available from October 21, and is a step up from the store's less colorful Honey Rose Latte.

This is made with herbal tee, toasted almond flavor, almond milk, rose infused syrup and honey. On top, sprinkle with edible rose petals and gold glitter.

Thanks to the huge number of customers who have ordered it and posted the evidence online, many had the same opinion, calling it "almost too good to be true".

Of course, they did drink – and most seemed impressed.

"I was looking at this for the Rose Gold Tea. Turned out to be one of my best drinks in general. This is so good," one person wrote.

“The Rose Gold Latte is so delicious it’s made all my coffees completely obsolete. What I love about this drink is that you can taste every single ingredient,” said local blogger Camila Rodrigues Pontes. “I’ve seriously been craving it every day since I first had it.”

While the Rose Gold drink seems to be the most popular order, fans are also flocking to the cafe for some other highly addictive beverages.

24K Gold Cappuccino is coffee based and has a cookie butter flavor. On top, steamed milk is covered with chocolate drizzle and 24K edible gold flakes and glitter.

There is also the rainbow latte, which is designed with colorful food dyes on top of the steamed milk. They are often decorated with rainbow sprinkles, only on weekends.

This fall, a coffee chain in India went viral for its own sparkling lattes. Di Bella, which has multiple locations in Mumbai, has won fans for two sparkling drinks, dubbed the "Diamond Cappuccino" and "Gold Cappuccino."
