Italian coffee machine

syrup

1. Soak the cup in hot water (warm the cup), let it rise in temperature, then pour out the excess water. A simpler method is to place the coffee cup in the heat placement area of the espresso machine, and the temperature of the cup will reach the required level when extracting and concentrating.

2. After grinding the dark roasted coffee beans, pour the coffee powder into the tamping machine and use the tamper to flatten the coffee. Then, press the tamping machine against the extraction port of the espresso machine to extract ESPRESSO. When extracting, make sure to keep the extraction port as close to the wall of the mug as possible, so that the oil of ESPRESSO can be formed more completely. The extraction time is generally 20 to 25 seconds depending on the actual tamping situation. The amount of extraction is 30ml.

3. If you are making original latte, you can add chocolate syrup to the extracted ESPRESSO. According to personal taste, 6 to 8 ml is appropriate. If you are making other flavors of latte, such as vanilla latte, add vanilla syrup and pay attention to the same points as before.

4. Take an appropriate amount of milk and place it under the steam nozzle of the espresso machine to make a high-temperature mixture of milk and milk foam. Try to control the temperature as much as possible. If it exceeds 90 degrees, the milk may boil, which will destroy all the milk foam.

5. Shake the mixture of milk and milk foam up and down to make the milk foam as concentrated as possible on the top, so that it is easier to control the proportion. Scrape off the thicker milk foam with a spoon. The thicker milk foam will destroy the taste and affect the appearance of the final coffee.

6. Shake the milk and milk foam mixture in appropriate proportions to ensure that the milk foam and milk are completely blended.

7. Finally, pour the milk and milk foam evenly into ESPRESSO, control the flow rate to make latte art, and you have completed a cup of Italian latte.
