This is the correct way to practice coffee latte art

I have extremely high requirements for patterns (occupational disease). I was driven crazy for a long time because of a slightly crooked peach heart pattern. When the pattern came out, it was very different from the ideal one. It is not difficult to find that in addition to the extremely high difficulty and beautiful composition, the works of the masters all have one thing in common: symmetrical centering!!!

Of course it is not 100%, after all, it is not made by a machine, as long as the deviation is not too big it is ok

Previously, Coffee Cainiao shared a latte art symmetry correction chart used by examiners of the (Coffee Art Latte Art Certification Association).

In short, the association has four ratings. In addition to the increasing difficulty of latte art, there are also strict requirements on symmetry. For example, the visual tilt of the white grade pattern is no more than 20°, the green grade is no more than 15°, the red grade is no more than 10°, and the black grade is no more than 5° (later there seems to be a gold grade).

When using it, you can first print out this latte art symmetry correction diagram, then place the finished coffee cup in the middle of the picture, with the handle aligned with the right center line of the correction diagram , and the top of the flower shape aligned with the upper center line of the correction diagram. Finally, check the angle of the ending part of your flower shape and see how much it deviates from the lower center line of the correction diagram.

In practice, why does latte art require that the pattern be symmetrical and centered?

When serving, the handle of the cup is usually on the customer's right hand side (of course, this does not exclude those who are used to holding the cup in their left hand). Therefore, in order for customers to see the latte art correctly, the pattern should be in the middle of the cup, surrounded by about 1cm of Klima color, forming a symmetrical center.

Everyone knows the principle, but it is a bit difficult to implement.

Let's extract a cup of espresso, then hold the coffee cup with one hand, with the mouth of the cup slightly tilted inwards, and hold the milk jug with the other hand. The height of the milk jug should be about 10cm higher than the coffee cup, with whipped milk foam inside, and the jug body slightly tilted, with the tip facing the coffee cup. Next, we start the journey of latte art.

【Tulip Coffee Latte Art Steps】

1.Mix milk and coffee;

2. Find the middle point of the cup, get close to the cup and increase the flow rate to the maximum, and stop pouring when white balls appear on the surface of the coffee;

3. The second injection point should be further back, and a large flow rate should be injected. When white balls appear, the injection can be stopped;

4. Repeat step 3 several times to make tulips

5. After the last ball appears, the flow rate immediately becomes smaller and goes out in a straight line.

Tulips are not particularly difficult and are also suitable for practice. Practice several times to understand the formation and changes of the patterns and master the tricks. When practicing, pay attention to the amplitude of the swing. Don't be too fast, and don't worry about too few embossings. You can also just push forward twice.

When you become proficient, you can add some embossing appropriately and push it forward a few more times to make the pattern more beautiful. To make tulip latte art, you need to know when to stop and when to continue pouring in the milk foam, and this rule of slight pauses.
