Colin MacIntyre, the artist formerly known as Mull Historical Society, will showcase his new album with a free three-day tour of Beanscene food, coffee and music houses running from 5-7th February.
MacIntyre's fourth album, 'The Water', is his first to be released under his own name following his three critically acclaimed 'Mull Historical Society' moniker outings.
Released on 4th February, the album's closing track 'Pay Attention To The Human' features a special guest appearance from Tony Benn, who has written and recited a poem specifically for the song. Benn's new book of diary entries, 'More Time For Politics: Diaries 2001-2007', includes his meeting with MacIntyre.
The full listing of timings and venues of the Colin MacIntyre tour is now confirmed as:
Ayr - Tuesday 5th February - 9pm
Glasgow Shawlands - Wednesday 6th February - 7.30pm
Glasgow Woodlands - Wednesday 6th February 9pm
Edinburgh Leith - Thursday 7th February - 7.30pm

The Colin MacIntyre tour follows hot on the heels of a free one off, one day, six stop coast-to-coast tour of Beanscene by Scottish songwriter and performer Kevin McDermott to showcase his latest solo album, 'Wise To The Fade', and consolidates Beanscene as the venue of choice for established and emerging music artists to promote their latest releases.
Colin MacIntyre will immediately follow the free three-day Beanscene tour the next evening with the first ever live music performance at the Heart of Hawick auditorium on Friday 8th February.
Tickets for the show, priced £12 in advance (£13.50 at the door), are available in-store at Beanscene, Towermill, Kirkstyle Hawick or online at www.beanscene.com/tickets. 'The Water' is available to buy in-store at all branches of Beanscene from Monday 4th February
